Ábhar / Content:
Formal classes in the morning use a variety of methodologies to teach elements of the Department of Education & Science syllabus with a focus on the Oral, Aural, Reading and Written components of an teanga Gaeilge. The principal focus of the course is on speaking the Irish language. All levels of ability are catered for on our course.
Supervised afternoon activities encourage students to build their social skills and team work using Irish instruction in a more natural environment. Spórt agus cluichí take place in the local hall, GAA pitch and on the beach.
To inspire an appreciation of our national culture and heritage students are also immersed in local activities such as guided heritage walks, guest talks, beach clean-up and themed Céilí which take place on Tuesday and Thursday nights in the Halla Pobail nearby.
We encourage students to bring their musical instruments, dancing shoes, sports equipment and fancy dress clothes with them to use during the fun activities.
Sceideal / Schedule:
The daily schedule is designed to help all students achieve their best in all areas (Oral, Aural, Reading and Written) of the course. The schedule ensures students are learning within a positive and fun learning environment. ‘Gaeilge le Gáire’
